Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. In the film and television business, she is famous for her numerous nominations and awards. Bassett is from New York New York. She was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Her mother split with her father when she was approximately five. She and her younger sister went from the city of St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was at high school and decided that it was acting she was looking to pursue. The year was 1980 and Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from the Yale School of Drama. She was married in 1997. married Courtney B. Vance who was an actor in the same group. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama awarded an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. She was a student at the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
