Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr, MBE, is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr first made her appearance in 1990, as singer-songwriter for the Celtic rock and pop-rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and their three older siblings. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She's a singer-songwriter actress, musician, and performer. Andrea Corr was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was bestowed upon her and she is also recognized as a member of The Celtic Folk-Pop-Rock group The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of the Corrs, she also serves as their leader. Beginning her acting career in the year 1991, Andrea then became an accomplished musician and actor on stage. She sang in the playback of Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. Six studio albums, two compilation albums two live albums as well as a remix album under her belt, Andrea is firmly established as a multifaceted artist. The charitable work she has done has also received recognition. Andrea's stockbroker husband and two children are hers. Andrea started learning to play the piano by playing the Tinny. Andrea learned how to perform the piano with the guidance of Gerry. Andrea can also play the ukulele. She spent her teen years working on her singing skills. She would sing with her brothers and eventually earned the position as the singer in charge of the band. Andrea often performed in the school's plays. She was a student at the Dun Lughaidh Convent.
