Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 15,1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. As a student in secondary school, Ward first attended Ouachita High School. She then transferred into River Oaks High School during the summer following her junior year. A short time after her graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left school at the age of 13 and moved in New York so that she was able to begin modeling. A few years afterward, she also decided to try acting. In 1970she first appeared in an uncredited character in the soap-opera All My Children and was later cast in the short-lived NBC prime-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. In the latter half of 1996Ward was offered a part in the soap opera daytime Sunset Beach where she portrayed the romantic Meg Cummings. In 1999she began to pursue a movie career starring as her psychotic Brittany Foster in the erotic film The In Crowd. The movie, at first a failure financially in cinemas and then on video-on-demand (VOD), became wildly well-known. In the following year, Ward played a supporting role in the hit movie Shallow Hal. Apart from her direct-to-DVD roles, Ward also made numerous guest appearances on television shows including Friends. She was the main actor in ABC Family's drama series Make It or Break It in the beginning of its two seasons in 2009. She appeared on the show in 2009 and landed the role Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teenage gymna. In her personal life she was married to the producer David C. Robinson and was blessed with a son named Cameron and David.
